Claudio Caniggia wants Mauro Icardi in the Argentinian national team. In an exclusive interview with Tuttomercatoweb, the former attacker of Atalanta and Roma explained why the Inter attacker deserves a chance in the national team: “A player that makes the kind of goals he has made, more than twenty in the last couple of seasons, should be considered. It all depends on the new coach, he decides. But Icardi has changed, he has realised that he made mistakes, for example how he used social networks in the past and now he is behaving. Why not give him a chance? In attack we have Higuain and Aguero, but they haven’t managed to perform as well as they have done in their respective clubs.”
