Stefano Pioli spoke to Inter Channel after Inter’s loss to Napoli: “We must start again and take small steps forward. It was not a great quality performance, but in terms of sacrifice and effort, I definitely feel like we were there and from there we need to start. There are 4 games and we have to start winning again. Did we suffer on the right hand side in the first half? They usually build more on the left, sometimes. Something had to give, but I think we were much more compact compared to the last game on a defensive level. We have an opportunity [against Genoa next week]. It will not be easy, but we must roll up our sleeves. We have to try, and we must succeed. What can be taken away from tonight? In terms of the effort put in, we were not lacking against a team who forced us to run a lot. There must be more attacking options and smoother play.”
