Andrea Ranocchia spoke to L’Avvenire on his experience with Hull and his future: “I’m glad for this experience in England, we’ve turned things round. There are lots of differences with respect to Italy, here football is lived differently, I will not say whether it is better or worse but there is less pressure, it’s what I needed after the last few years at Inter. There is great satisfaction after so much mud being thrown at me. I am a professional who has always given everything for the shirt. I needed a change of life. In Italy there was too much mud thrown and I could not express myself. But I will not dwell on the past, what has happened has happened, I’m happy to have passed this test and now I feel better. My future? Let’s say that I now think of achieving safety with Hull. I still have two years on my contract with Inter but football is strange, I had been close to Galatasaray when Mancini was there, I could have ended up in Conte’s Juve and until January I did not think of going to England. The transfer market is weird. Am I still an Inter fan? Absolutely, I could not cheer any other team in Italy.”
