Gabigol took to his Facebook page to apologise for his actions at the end of the Lazio game: “Interistas and business associates, yesterday in the match, I suddenly had a reckless and inappropriate attitude when I left the field before the end of the game. With the support of my family, I could see that such an attitude is contrary to sportsmanship and my professional values. I acknowledge my mistake and I would like to record my sincerest apologies to all the Nerazzurri (who have always supported me) and my teammates!”
