Sky Sport report that Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij is negotiationg a new contract with the Biancocelesti amidst rumors of Inter being hot in oursuit of the Dutchman.
According to the report, despite signals coming from the Italian capital over the past few months that the player could be on his way out from Lazio, the parties have instead decided to resume talks regarding an extension of the player’s contracy.
Furthermore, Sky Sport reports, that talks are going rather well and the only knot left to resolve before the parties are in complete agreement concerns the minimum release fee clause. Lazio have asked the clause to be set at €30 million whilst the Dutchman wants it to be no higher than €20 million as talks are expected to continue over the next few days.
