According to Firenzeviola.it, the midfielder has come into contact with some of the most influential fans from the Curva Fiesole during his holidays. The 32-year-old claims to have been given an ultimatum by Fiorentina: join Inter or spend next season sitting in the stands.
This comes as little surprise given how tense things have been since the Viola tried to sell the Spaniard to an unnamed Chinese club behind his back last January. His relationship with Pantaleo Corvino is practically non-existent, which has in all probability led to the threat of being banished to the stands.
