West Bromwich Albion are aware of Andrea Ranocchia’s availability, however they are not actively pursuing the Inter defender at this stage. There has been speculation, from reports in Italy that West Brom were preparing a 5M Euro move for the Italian international.
Tony Pulis is keen on signing a centre back following the departure of Jonas Olsson. Ranocchia has been on Bromwich’s radar for some time now, however according to Birmingham Mail, the club is working on other defensive targets and there are no plans to place a bid for the 29-year-old Italian. Ben Gibson, Lamine Kone and Chris Smalling are all higher up Albion’s wish list.
