Interviewed the Turkish sport site Sporx, the president of Trabzonspor FC, Muharrem Usta, spoke about the negotiations that seemed to quickly lead Gary Medel to the Anatolian club, revealing important details about contacts that Trabzonspor has had with Inter’s management:
“With the Nerazzurri we agreed that it would ideal to speak about Medel after the Confederations Cup, and later, however, there was some delay. Inter’s senior management told me that there is at one other club that is interested, maybe a few more. In a nutshell, we need to buy a player, I do not know if it’s going to be Gary Medel or if there will be additional delays in the deal for the Chilean. However, we will meet again to discuss the transfer.”
