Wednesday could be a vital day in the deal to bring Matias Vecino to Inter. As reported by Premium Sport, the meeting with Alessandro Lucci, the player’s agent, has ended. It was a meeting to define all the details of the contract at Inter’s offices in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and after an hour of conversation he left.

The agent is now expected to meet Fiorentina to ascertain the terms of payment of the buyout clause of 24 million Euros. Inter must choose whether to pay it immediately or spread it over years and pay bonuses. On leaving the Nerazzurri headquarters, Lucci is only said to the microphones of Sky Sports: “We have to wait. If they’re confident? I do not know.”
