Inter’s Italian forward Eder spoke to Premium Sports after the side’s 1-0 victory vs Lyon:

“We are trying to build a strong team, a team that knows the importance of winning. In this period it is important to maintain the focus and we are just trying to do that.”

“Spalletti is a great coach, his career speaks himself. On the field he is always ready with his advise to guide us through difficulties. Many of us may have to make sacrifice for the team but that is important.”

“I obviously want to stay but it doesn’t totally depend on me. We have many great players in the squad and we have to prove ourselves in order to cement our place in the team. Last year including me many failed to give their level best for the team but this time we need to give that. Arrival of new quality players will improve the quality of the team and bring in healthy competition.”
