Tuttosport report that after rejecting no less than seven clubs, Gabigol has realised that there is not currently space for him at Inter. The players agent has confirmed talks with Sporting Lisbon over a loan move.

Tuttosport also bring an update on Stevan Jovetic’s future. The Montenegrin, who had a good pre-season, is sure that he can convince Luciano Spalletti to count upon him this season. Depending on his usage in the first two league games, things could take off in the final days of the mercato surrounding a departure from the San Siro.

Serie A loan is the best solution for Gabi

Loaning out Gabigol to sporting is lose/lose for Inter tbh.

Sporting is not some minor club, there is no way they will take Gabi on loan and use him regularly unless there is an option to buy him.

So in other words, if gabigol joins Sporting he will only return to Inter if he flops there.

On the other hand, i can understand the players perspective in not wanting to join some random low table side like Las Palmas or go to turkey….

You make a solid point, but keeping him at inter to sit on bench doesn’t help either. The problem seems to be that he has such a high opinion of himself and ability that funnily none of our 3 past coaches seems to see.

At this point any team that would give him a a few games would be nice. With no cups this year and a full to bursting roster shipping him out seems like the best move no matter where.

        All true as well.

Just further testifies that there really are no good outcomes for Gabigol.

He should never have been bought in the first place. Inter wasted alot of money and Gabigol wasted a year at a club that is famous for not being able to develop talents in his age range to the senior team.

The worst part is almost that the club is about to make the same mistake with Emre Mor, who physically needs to develop even more than Gabigol did and who mentally is a mess = even less chance of succeding than Gabi.

Inter needs to stop buying talents between the age 18-22 with the intent to integrate them into the senior team, because they are awful at doing that.

          100% correct

Investing in youth is a great thing, but not for the price of a well established player.

Why no one wants to buy jojo for only 13 mil?

    • Nerazzurri88

      – His price is not 13 Mil anymore.
      – His salary is considered high for someone who’s injury prone.
      – He doesn’t have the desire to leave yet.
      – Inter wants to keep him as well for the moment.

Conclusion: He will stay until both parties agree for a common departure.

      • boln

What is his price now? He needs to go. He is not type of player that wants to be benched. We dont want any fight in changing room again

        • Nerazzurri88

I think his valuation should be between 20-25Mil in today’s market. Nobody wants to be benched, but if he doesn’t mind staying as a game changer then I wouldn’t mind. Besides, I believe it will bring great competition to Icardi if he is to stay with us. Icardi is a great striker but sometimes he lacks concentration and his laziness comes up. I don’t think Eder represents a threat to Icardi, but Jovetic does. If Patrik Schick is bought by us, then Jovetic might demand being shipped off.

    • Azzkikr

      – Because of his salary demands (on 3.5m at Inter)
      – Because of his history of inconsistency and injuries.

Barcelona will reportedly target Inter winger Ivan Perisic if they fail to land Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele.

      100 mil and he’s theirs 😀

      • nozanneti

        I’m 100% for 100mill 😉
