The future of Angel Di Maria seems as uncertain as it can be, despite the total confidence from coach Unai Emery. Di Maria is heading to Guingamp for today’s game in the French Ligue 1, but due to an overcrowded attack (especially since Mbappé is arriving) in combination with salary managment the Argentinian is most likely to leave. Of Inter’s interest in the player there is no doubt, but negotiations last week was suspended when it was clear that Ivan Perisic would stay in Milan. The key factor in a possible deal is the salary of Di Maria and now when Perisic will not fly to Manchester it seems unlikely that Inter will go for a big one without selling an attacker.

In the meantime Spanish sources claims that Barcelona, after the Neymar transfer, is showing interest for both Perisic and Di Maria. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Argentinian has sent his entourage to Milan in order to suspend any negotiations until Barcelona’s intentions are clear. The Catalans though, also have their eyes on Coutinho and Dembele, this due to the player’s age in combination with technical reasons.
