Former Inter star Luis Suárez discussed the Nerazzurri’s current situation with TuttoMercatoWeb: “I saw a great pre-season, and we hope the season continues like this. However, there is still something else needed to complete the team. Spalletti has already made me see that things are changing for the better with respect to our recent past. I repeat, it is right to proceed with some more moves to help the team make a further leap in quality.
“The market? I would like to see a reinforcement arrive in defence, as well as another midfield player. Inter can be a protagonist in Serie A – in my opinion, they can compete with anyone. Everyone says Juve are a step above the rest, but they have not started well. I think it will be a good battle between the top five teams for the title.”
