New signing Matias Vecino was interviewed by Premium Sport after having scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri which meant that Inter beat Roma away at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome by 3-1.
“Winning like this gives us confidence, especially away from home against a great side like Roma. This means that we are able to compete with the biggest teams in the league. Never giving up is a trait of the strongest teams, we did very well to stay in the match and we were rewarded for it.”
“I think that these types of wins give the squad a feeling of certainty and confidence regarding our strength but we are only at the start of the season and we have to ask more from each and every one of us. We are a strong team, we have to have continuity because if we do not play like this every week things will become very difficult very quickly.”
