After the final whistle of the Roma-Inter game, the man who won the match for Inter, Mauro Icardi, spoke to Premium Sport and had the following to say:
“Hero? No, but our perfomance in the second half was outstanding. We entered the pitch with another kind of mentality and you could see that. Our errors? It happens that you do some good things and some bad things. We are at the beginning of the season and we are getting used to things that are different with respect to last season which means that errors will happen. But we also did a lot of good things, we had a lot of possession on their half. This victory is the best of signs, now we have to prepare ourselves for the next game. We will go home with confidence and then we will start thinking about the next game. Now I have my chance with the Argentinian national team, I have waited four years for this and I will enjoy it”.
