Former Inter defender Francesco Colonnese spoke to TMW Radio on the Nerazzurri: “Spalletti quickly demonstrated his worth and showed what Inter needed in a manager. In my opinion, Inter can fight for the top four places, their absence from Europe can help them in the Scudetto race.”

Colonnese moved on to discuss the arrivals of Borja Valero and Matias Vecino from Fiorentina: “They are players who have personalities and know the Italian league well.”

Finally, the 46 year old spoke on Inter’s thin looking defence: “Central defence needs an alternative behind Milan Skriniar and Miranda. Dalbert can do well and Joao Cancelo is a very attacking player but do not forget Danilo D’Ambrosio, who is a reliable player.”
