Inter’s Gabriel Barbosa on the deadline day sealed a loan move to Portuguese Club Benfica. The player after his move spoke to the media:
“I am at Benfica and it is the best club for me at this moment. I don’t know what went wrong at Inter. I was always ready and worked everyday but didn’t get the chance to prove myself. Inter is now past and I am only focused on winning titles with Benfica and helping my teammates in it”

The Brazilian signed for Inter last year but since his signing he only made 9 appearances for the club where he scored 1 goal. His only goal came vs Bologna in an away game where he came on as sub.
