Former Inter sporting Director Branca today spoke to VG radio about Transfer Mercato and Serie A:
Do you think Rome has some defensive gaps? What do you think about Juan Jesus?
“The central defense is an area of concern for many teams, I do not see many CBs around. I believe that Jesus has the technical and physical abilities which can make him one of the best in football if he works properly.”
What will be the role of Schick?
“The manager will look after it. If you play Schick with a 4-3-3 then it will create more problems than solving the existing ones. Necessary changes will be made and manager will look after it.”
What differences do you think there are between Inter and Roma? Where will they finish this season?
“The teams must be aware of the capabilities of their roster. From the very beginning they have to improve. The more it will happen, the less points they will lose.”
Who would you buy in this market?
“I do not like playing games. The market is very strenuous and it should end 30 days early atleast. The managers are also nervous due to this. I like the number of business the Serie A clubs have done this year. It should also be reflected on field.”
