Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello spoke to Premium Sport ahead of the match against SPAL.
“We have started very well, even though we have to stay calm. We are only in the beginning, there are 36 matches left. Today we’re playign a delicate match, we have the support of our fans who are our DNA and because of this we have to return the faith shown.”
“The transfer window just ended and we have made our signings and our sporting directors have identified the elements requested by the coach. Now we have to concentrate on the pitch and win the matches, we think we have the right squad and step by step we will go forward. Not many options up front? I am not the right person to talk about this. We have to support our coaches and directors, as a club we work behind them to show them our support. We are overwhelmed by the support of our fans who are showing us a lot of support. We hope that this continues. We want to repay this in every way.”
In conclusion Antonello spoke about Perisic stating that: “I don’t want to speak about individuals but instead about the team. If we talk about individuals we risk losing focus on our objective which is to bring Inter back to the top of the league.”
