After the controversial Instagram post Marco Borriello again made a comeback where he continued castigating the referee for his decision of awarding the penalty. The former Milan and Juventus player re-iterates his old point today and said:
“Modestly speaking, it wasn’t a penalty at all. I have reviewed it 67 times in slow motion and my perception hasn’t changed. The antics of Joao Mario isn’t quite justified by the way our defender made the tackle. This is the second game in a row where a controversial decision has been given against us. The last thing I want is to SPAL become the victim of VAR system.”
