Inter coach Luciano Spalletti was interviewed by Premium Sport ahead of this afternoons Serie A fixture away to Stadio Ezio Scida in Calabria when the Nerazzurri face off with Crotone in an attempt to take revenge for last seasons humiliating 3-0 defeat.

“This is one of the 35 matches left where we have to get a result. You do not need the stadium to back you to feel like a champion, a champion is someone who sticks to it.”

Spalletti was then asked to comment in the fact that Inter wont be playing in any European competitions this season saying that: “The fact that we do not play in Europe could be an advantage but it can also be a difficulty because the players who do not play want to show off their qualities. The midweek fixtures help you in my position, even though in the long run they tend to tire out the players.”
