Inter’s Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was very important in the Nerazzurri’s win away against Crotone in the Serie A, a win that put the Nerazzurri at the top of the Serie A table. Afterwards he spoke with Inter Channel.

“My job is to make saves, I am here to do this. This year I have made few saves, everytime I touch the ball it is for the good of the team. All saves are difficult, you can never underestimate the ball. Even in the first haöf I thought a ball was going to go out of play but I had to intervene in the end. On this pitch then everything is possible. The wind complicates everything, it is very difficult to read the balls trajectory. It changes everything, today it was very difficult for a goalkeeper with the sun, the wind in a pitch that was not in a good condition.”

“It was very important to win here, now we can think about our next fixture. We were expecting a match like this, but we knew that we would suffer and to take advantage of the right moment. They managed to stay up last season on this ground, it is not easy here for anyone. What matters is the attitude of the team, everyone has to be ready.”

In conclusion Handanovic said: “We are more of a team now, we help eachother out now and we can perceive danger too but four matches are not a lot, we need to continue like this.”
