Eder came on in the second half and did his job and was the man behind the penalty which Icardi converted, a penalty that at saved a draw away against Bologna. This is what the Italian international had to say about the game to Sky Sport.

“I knew Bologna was a good team, but we are aiming for the Champions League, and in order to stay up there, keeping that spot, we have to win these kind of games. In the end we managed to go home to Milano with one point. In games like this, when you can not get the win it is important to play tight. During this week we will see what did not work out and we will try to improve these things before the next game. Because this is what will take us to the UCL, improvement and a willingness to fight for each point.”

“Playing against Crotone was tough, but here we got better in the second half. I am disappointed with not winning the match but one point also helps us in the standings. The penalty? When I turned around in the box the defender touched my foot. I always give 100 %, like you should play and accept all the decisions of the coach. There were some clubs wanting my signature but at the end the club and the coach wanted to keep me and I gladly stayed” Eder concluded.
