Former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba spoke on Inter and their current situation: “The team was built to be a team that does not play in Europe. A super Inter would have a centre back of the highest level and a deputy to Icardi of equal value.”
Cordoba continued pondering whether or not the lack of European football will benefit the Nerazzurri, “It depends on how they behave. If they react in the right way, they have an advantage.”
“How else can Inter improve? Icardi must make himself more available with his movement off the ball. His job is to score goals but it makes no sense to run with no purpose, there are many other ways to help teammates.”
The Colombian concluded discussing the scudetto race: “The table says that Juventus, Napoli and Inter have something more than the others. When I was playing in Serie A, there was not such a big technical gap and each trip was tough.”
