Luca Marchegiani spoke to Sky in regard to the latest form Inter Milan showed to start the campaign. In comparing Mancini’s Inter to Spalletti’s “Mancini’s squad played fairly well until Christmas, then their form took a stop and so did the team itself, there was no basis to build upon.” In regard to Spalletti’s Inter “Spalletti’s side indeed needs to continuously and gradually grow. A lot of things are going their way for the better. Spalletti to me is fantastic.” When asked about prospective Scudetto chances, he added “Inter must grow in order to discuss items of this sort, they’ve won a few games due to episodes going their way but eventually the team needs to win with good play.”
