This is what Inter coach, Luciano Spalletti, had to say to the gathering journalists at the official post-match press conference after the Bologna-Inter clash.

Does Inter need more alternatives than Karamoh and Pinamonti to change games where you can not find the right pace?

“That is an analysis I better stay out of, but this is the roster we have until December. There are things that can be done right now, Karamoh, Vanheusden, they are all players that we decided to keep and trust because they are quality players. We do not make a big fuss abaout one game that does not go as we planned it to. And I expect from them to have the same value as the rest of Inter’s players. I waited a bit to do the second change, but I do not agree with whoever says that we performed badly tonight. There was a lack of quality in the area that counts, but over all we  were positioned well and were in the match. Certainly we did not play a good match, we need to raise the speed and the quality of the ball. I expected something more from the team after the equaliser.”

Bologna sees this result as a disappointment, what about Inter? Was it a fair result?

“The players intentions during the second half were the right ones. But we need more quality, stronger decisions and more toughness. Juventus have won championships thanks to Buffon’s saves, we have Samir Handanovic. And just immagine how the game could have looked if just Joao Mario would have put away that chance after three minutes. I would say that after Eder came on the team came on, after the equaliser the team, mentally, tried to win. But Bologna played well and should they have won it would not have been a robbery. And our point was also not a robbery.”
