The magazine of the University of Meiji in Japan has interviewed one of the most famous students of the recent history of the university: Inter defender Yuto Nagatomo.

MeijiNow’s microphones revealed many aspects of his personality and growth, just from his time at the university: “This university works not only on the sport but also on the human side. In those years I have met so many fantastic people with which I am still in touch. I think collected major assets in four years.

Nagatomo then spoke about his time after graduation, the football profession and his arrival in Italy: “It was perhaps the hardest time for me, and I went there without knowing anything, but I was able to communicate with my teammates, even through jokes and laughs.

For seven years now, in Italy, Nagatomo has now become involved in the country, and his wife lives here too: “In married life, I have a lot of fun, my wife is now getting used to Italy and she loves it very much. The support of a person like this is important.”

Finally, Nagatomo unveils his goal for the future: “The first thing is to get a good result at the World Cup in Russia, it would be a dream.”
