The Argentinian national team manager, Jorge Sampaoli, is returning to Argentina having been on a quick tour of Europe.
Sampaoli took the time to travel to the continent so he could talk to some members of his national team squad ahead of their now crucial World Cup qualifiers next month against Peru & Ecuador. Argentina must win both of their games in order to qualify automatically or at least via the inter confederation play-off. The 57 year old former Chile manager has caused a stir recently favouring Inter captain Mauro Icardi ahead of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain. During his whistle stop tour of Europe he stopped off to talk to Javier Mascherano & Lionel Messi in Barcelona, then on to Italy to see Lucas Biglia & Mauro Icardi.
