Inter’s Sporting Director spoke to Premium Sport moments ahead of the Serie A clash between Inter and Genoa at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
“We did not lose in Bologna, so it is a positive result. The season is filled up with difficult moments, at the Dall’Ara we did well and could even win. Today we have to give continuity in front of our fans, in a delicate match against Genoa but we want to get back to winning ways.”
Ausilio was asked if Brozovic could be Santa Clause’s gift to Spalletti to which he replied: “When you speak about Brozovic and Joao Mario you are speaking about to starting players for their respective national teams. Today they are amongst the starters, next match others could start. Pellegri? I wont exclude anything, the transfer window is long and is active throughout the season. I want to reiterate that he is a great player but here we have other great players like Pinamonti, Odegaard and Colidio.”
