Inter’s Slovakian international central defender Milan Skriniar, stopped by the mized zone at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to answer questions from journalists after Inter won a hardfought battle against Genoa thanks to a Danilo D’Ambrosio header who latched on to a Joao Mario corner in the 87th minute.
“It was a very important win and it represents a good step forward for us. We knew that we were facing a strong and compact team. Pellegri is a great player and he has confidence but like all young players he can still improve. We have two points less than Juventus and Napoli but the league is long and through hard work we can eliminate the gap.”
“We are a very strong team, in defence and in midfield we are strong just as we are. Karamoh is a great lad. He is fast and very strong in one-on-one situations. He is a great player” Skriniar concluded.
