Benevento face Inter in Serie A this weekend for the first time in their history. They go into this game having not picked up a single point so far in their debut Serie A campaign.
Italian midfielder Nicolas Viola was a member of last seasons’ Serie B promotion campaign & spoke after his sides’ 2-0 defeat against Crotone on Sunday saying “we knew of the difficulties we were going to face as a newly promoted team this season but now we have to get our heads down & work hard to get through this moment. When I arrived here in January I was so pleased to have found a great atmosphere which helped me to settle in quickly & easily. I think we have to try & retrieve that enthusiasm which has been missing so far to bring out the best in us. Now we have to come together & try to get a result on Sunday against Inter.”
