Oscar Damiani, agent for Yann Karamoh spoke with FcIN in an exclusive interview discussing his client who on Sunday conquered the hearts of Interisti at San Siro.

Yesterday in his debut, Karamoh seemed to understand what Spalletti wanted from him on the pitch, what are your thoughts?

“He did very well, he simply showed the will to win, determination and showed great personality.  He took the initiative to put the opposing defense under pressure and showed that in more than one occasion including being the catalyst for having Taarabt obtain the red card.  The goal from D’Ambrosio also came from the play previous of Karamoh who took a shot from outside the box that caused the corner.  He made a very strong impact, it was sometime that Spalletti wanted to give him a chance and Sunday was the perfect chance for him to do so.  Yann provided a strong display in showing confidence to his coach.”

The fans we’re also enthusiastic..

“This is very important because the fans also knew he had many choices in the mercato but chose Inter.  It’s important the player has this strong connection with the fans and this will only further grow once he has other strong performances.”

Despite the players technical abilities shown, one may discuss his fragile physique?

“No, absolutely not fragile.  He’s a meter’85 and weight 80 kilos.  The young lad has good structure, you may see the opposite because he’s so rapid and fast, but he doesn’t have a weak physique.  In Italy with hard work he will grow and become even stronger, even though we don’t have to pump him up since he doesn’t need more pressure.  What the player did Sunday was very positive but he has lots of work to do.”

Could he replace Candreva for a starting role?

“I’m not the coach, all the player needs to do is work.  He could certainly come off the bench and provide alternative structure during matches or he can start from opening whistle if Spalletti believes its the perfect time to do so.”

What other positions can he play?

“Any of the attacking positions behind the striker.”

So your saying if Spalletti needs him to be a “trequartista” he can be?

“Yes, Absolutely.”

Let’s move over to Avellino, Andrei Radu is gaining confidence at Novellino with strong performance..

“We’re very happy, the other day I was at Novara to watch the match.  The young lad decided to go to Avellino for which was one of few choices but he’s very happy and he has to continue growing with this club.  Then on the 6th of October he’s playing for the National Team Under-21 for which he’s the captain, meaning at this point after the injury obtained he’s in a more serene place.  He’s a player for which Inter believes in and we believe he can have a great future in Nerazzurro.”

So your saying he’s the probable Post-Handanovic?

“It’s too soon.  Handanovic is doing very well so I’m not going to provide future talks.  For the moment let’s leave the player tranquil and let’s have him continue his strong start with Avellino, then at years end we can discuss.””
