Former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba spoke with Premium Sport on Inter’s start to the season, “You can use the word ‘amazing’ to describe this Inter. I’m a fan of what is being done, we are on the road to the continuity that allows us to compete for great goals. For me, a lot of this comes down to Luciano Spalletti.”

“I think the players have started to understand what is required in Italian football, the toughest league in the world, if you do not have the right attitude, you will lose. All this must be understood, and the guys are understanding it” he added.

With the derby on the horizon, the Colombian shared his thoughts ahead of the game, “Obviously I hope Inter wins, but the derby is always a tough match, and sometimes the results like those that Milan have had in the last few weeks do not say anything.”

Finally, Cordoba spoke on the clubs central defensive pairing of Milan Skriniar and Miranda: “Skriniar is proving to be an important point of reference for the defence while Miranda has adapted well, they both give security. The whole team knows that a very good defence helps the attack out.”
