Simic: “The derby is always a special game”

Interviewed by Sky Sports, the former Milan and Inter defender Dario Simic spoke ahead of the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.

Inter are currently seven points ahead of their city rivals heading into the game, but Simic insists that form counts for nothing in a game such as the Derby.

The ex-Croatia international said: “The derby is always a special game, and the team who is playing better doesn’t necessarily win. I am a Milan fan, but Inter was nice to me, since I was with the Nerazzurri for three and a half years.”
