Gianfelice Facchetti, the son of Inter legend Giacinto spoke to Inter TV in the lead up to the derby on Sunday night, “For me the match of the year is against the Rossoneri, the Milan derby is the game I never miss. It will be special, Inter is better off than Milan because they have a lot more solidity.”

The future of the San Siro has been spoken about a lot recently in the press and Facchetti gave his opinion on the situation, “I would be sorry to no longer see Inter playing there. On the other hand, things have changed and today if you want to compete, you need to own your stadium.”

He also concluded revealing an interesting anecdote about his father, “Few know, but my dad trialled for Milan before going to Inter in the mid-1950s. It was his dad and my grandfather who pushed him towards the Nerazzurri.”
