Mattias Vecino was visibly happy with the 3-2 result against AC Milan when speaking with Inter TV.

“Fortunately we were able to win this game even though we conceded the goals we did. Right now we have a great situation standings wise and to win a derby is always special when you wear the jersey that you do, it was an incredible atmosphere at San Siro today. For me this was a beautiful week, first qualifying for the World Cup and then to win the derby. I am honestly so happy for everybody.”

Vecino was then asked about Mauro Icardi stating “He is a guy that lives to score. We wanted him to score a brace and he scored three goals instead [laughing]. As soon as he gets into the box he scores, this Saturday we face Sarri’s Napoli, the first guy to believe in me and my possibilities. I have great memories from working with him, and he is a great coach. But of course we go there to win” Vecino concluded.
