Inter legend, Giuseppe Bergomi spoke to Radio 24’s ‘Tutti Convocati’ and was happy with Inter’s win in the derby match this past weekend. He gave praise to Icardi and Candreva as the two standout performers. He also pointed out the mistakes of Milan’s Bonucci and Ricardo Rodriguez. Bergomi believe’s Inter are still behind Napoli and Juventus for the Scudetto.

“I’m happy for the win, I think Inter did deserve to win. The decision for a penalty kick? The call was clear, and if I had been in Vincenzo Montella’s place, I would be angry with Ricardo Rodriguez. Then fouls like this with the VAR have dropped drastically, that’s why it was a mistake [by Ricardo]. The second goal by Inter, I saw a mistake by Leonardo Bonucci. Merits must first be given to Mauro Icardi and Antonio Candreva. Scudetto? I still think Napoli and Juventus are superior to Inter. But Nerazzurri have great mental control.”
