Ahead of the applause and cheers of the final whistle of Paolo Tagliavento. Inter and its fans celebrated the career of a modern day hero and legend, Esteban “Cuchu” Cambiasso. The San Siro faithful watched as another Inter great and teammate, Francesco Toldo honored Cambiasso’s career in the midfield circle. The fans as well ex teammates, Diego Milito and Javier zanetti applauded this as well as Spalletti and the current squad.
Cambiasso took to Instagram with a picture holding up his iconic, framed #19 jersey with his children alongside him. He included a message to all of his fans and followers: “Simply… an Interista forever.”
Cambiasso enjoyed his ten year run at Inter. He accomplished many achievements during his time:
