Premium Sport reports that during the half-time interval of the Serie A fixture between Napoli and Inter at the Stadio San Paolo last night, Partenopei coach Maurizio Sarri spoke with fourth official Irrati regarding the chants that the traveling Inter fans were singing.

According to the report, Sarri was visibly annoyed at the chants and songs being sung by the away team, arguing to the officials that the songs were in clear violation of the rules that prohibit language bring used that falls within the Lega Calcio’s definition of what constitutes “territorial discrimination.”

Premium Sport reported that the match officials wrote down Sarri’s complaints in the official matchreport which will be sent to the Lega Calcio who will then investigate if the away fans were in breach of the rules. If any action is taken, such action will be revealed on Monday after all the fixtures of the 9th day of the 2017/2018 Serie A season have all been completed.
