Former Inter goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca spoke ahead of tomorrow night’s clash involving two of his former teams, Inter and Sampdoria.

“It is going to be a good match, because Sampdoria are a team who plays well, while Inter are a very practical and cynical team but have not shown themselves at their fullest despite some good results,” Pagliuca, who played no less than 363 times in Serie A between his spells with the Nerazzurri and Blucerchiati, told Genoa based outlet Primocanale.

“It will be a very balanced match even if Inter has the home advantage,” he concluded.

The now 50-year-old, who still holds the record for most Serie A penalty saves with 24, was part of the famous Sampdoria side of the late 1980s and early 1990s who won on the European stage and picked up a historic scudetto. At Inter, Pagliuca added to his winners medals by picking up a UEFA Cup winners medal in the 1996-97 season during a five-year spell.
