Inter manager Luciano Spalletti was full of praise for summer signing Milan Skriniar in his press conference today ahead of Inter’s game with Sampdoria tomorrow night.

Spalletti is of the belief that the Slovakian, who will be up against his former employers, is yet to reach his full potential, “For me, he’s at 60 percent: he’s strong physically and knows how to play the ball. You’ll see how many teams will be interested in him, but that doesn’t frighten me because when teams hover around our players, I couldn’t care less because they won’t leave.”

Spalletti insisted that despite the good start, the 22-year-old still has “a lot to improve on.”

“We immediately liked his response when we were negotiating to sign him. After that, he confirmed to our directors that he wanted Inter,” Spalletti told reporters when giving some details about the negotiations that brought Skriniar to the club in the summer mercato.
