Sampdoria manager Marco Giampaolo spoke ahead of tomorrow night’s tie away to Inter to Premium Sport.

The former Empoli manager spoke on Inter and their new look under Luciano Spalletti, “Inter previously expressed themselves as individuals but now do so as a collective and seem more like a team to me. Mauro Icardi putting in work in defence is an example of them working as a collective.”

Giampaolo also spoke on former player Milan Skriniar, who his Samp side will come up against tomorrow at the San Siro: “He never wastes time in training and talks very little during it. He has many physical and technical qualities. We already knew he was capable at playing at a high level [before we sold him].”

“I have to evaluate which formation will be used. Gianluca Caprari has quality and can play in a number of positions and express himself,” he concluded.
