Croatian winger Ivan Perisic was interviewed by InterTV after having scored the winning goal when the Nerazzurri traveled to Verona to face off against Hellas at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.

Perisic who scored his 4th goal in 11 Serie A matches this season was asked about the cracking finish stating that: “I am right footed by I can also shoot with my left. Recently I have only tried playing with my left foot but when there is a chance to score a goal I try to score with either foot. I hit the ball really well and I scored, earlier I missed. I joked about my right foot whan i scored, it seems more difficult to me to score with my right foot. It is always great to score irrespective of it is with my right or left foot or with my head.”

“The only thing that mattered today was the win, we suffered until the very end but we managed to take the 3 points and we have to continue like this, without dropping anything and prepare well for the match against Torino. In that match too, the only thing that matters is to win” Perisic continued.

In conclusion the Crotian international was asked if he see’s himself as a leader of this Inter to which he replied: “We all have to be leaders, we have to defend and attack, only this way can we achieve great things.”
