Despite a very sluggish and tired looking Inter who arguably gave the worst performanc of the season, the Nerazzurri managed to bag all three points away at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in Verona against Hellas thanks to a goal in each half by Borja Valero and Ivan Perisic.

The Spanish midfielder scored his first goal since signing for Inter from Fiorentina this past summer heading home a wonderful Antonio Candreva cross in the first half. Former Inter striker Giampaolo Pazzini equalized early in the second half from the penalty spot after Samir Handanovic made a mess of a simple challenge when missing the ball and instead flattening Alessio Cerci.

However, the Nerazzurri managed to record their 9th win in 11 Serie A matches this season, making it their most successful start ever to a season when Ivan Perisic thundered in a shot into to the top corner after a corner.
