Torino President Urbano Cairo made a short statement ahead of the upcoming fixture away at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district on Sunday against Inter, with kick-off scheduled for 12.30 pm CET.
“It will be an important game,” Cairo told Radio Rai before continuing that “Inter are a team that is doing very well. Our season was not dependant on the win against Cagliari and it wont be decided on Sunday against Inter either. Torino will travel to the San Siro to play our own game with the same competitive natiness we showed against Cagliari” Cairo concluded.
Torino are currently in 9th place in the Serie A standings heading in to Sunday’s lunch time fixture and will hope to pick up another result having gone on a 5 game win-less run prior to their 2-1 victory over Cagliari during the weekend at home at the Stadio Olimpico di Grande Torino.
