Inter set a new club record by recording their 9th win in their first 11 matches in the Serie A after Borja Valero scored his first ever goal in an Inter shirt and Ivan Perisic hammered home his 4th goal of the season after former Nerazzurri striker Giampaolo Pazzini equalized from the penalty spot.

Luciano Spalletti was very happy with his players performances in his post match interviews after the Nerazzuri defeated Hellas Verona 2-1 away at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi after former Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero headed home a great cross from Antonio Candreva in the first half and Croatian winger Ivan Perisic smashed home the winner midway through the 2nd half.

However, this was Inter’s worst performance of the season and hardly a win that will be remembered for the great entertainment value but instead will go down in the record books as being the fixture where Inter set a new club record. The Nerazzurri have never started a Serie A campaign better since the introduction of the 3 point system as they currently have 29 points out of a maximum 33.
