Inter outplayed Torino in front of over 71.000 specatators at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district but poor finishing from especially Mauro Icardi saw the Nerazzurri drop 2 points at home when Eder equalized after Iago Falque had given Torino the lead.

Luciano Spalletti’s men came out all guns blazing in the first half, passing the ball really well, with great movement causing Torino all sorts of problems. The Nerazzurri created a lot of chances and captain Mauro Icardi missed more chances during the first 45 minutes than he has during his entire career at Inter. The inaccuracy in front of goal continued, mixed with a little bit of bad luck such as when Matias Vecino’s thunderous shot hit the crossbar in the second half.

Inter’s perfect home record is over after the 1-1 draw in a match where the Nerazzurri played really well but were hurt by their wastefullness in front of goal.
