Pietro Pellegri remains subject to a wealth of interest following his explosion on to the Serie A scence with Genoa last year when he was just 16.

The Italian youth international is very highly valued by the Genoa management and report that they want €30 million for the striker.

The fee is thought to have ruled out all of the teams in Italy who are unwilling to take the risk in making such a big investment in such a young player.

Premier League side Manchester United are very keen on signing Pellegri as are city rivals Manchester City as well as Arsenal.

Inter were close to striking a deal with Genoa over the transfer of Pellegri and fellow Genoa youngster Eddy Salcedo but they have now been overtaken in the race to sign him. Pellegri is under contract at the Marassi through to 2019 having signed a contract extension back in March of this year.

We have beeen overtaking also because – as Ausilio said- we already have 3 super talented players in the Primavera whom we are excepting a lot from; Pinamonti, Odgaard (who both are bombing in goals in the youth CL) and Colidio (who scored the other day in his debut for the youth team). So investing 30 mil in another talented striker might not be a priority!

true, we already happy with what we have, hope them three could be well integrated to the first team in the future.

Yes me too – especially Pinomonti. He looks ready but maybe Odgaard should go on loan and learn more about serie A before returning. Colidio is very young still and needs more time I think
