Speaking to Premium Sport, Sampdoria Sporting Director Carlo Osti spoke about the upcomin January transfer market window & in particular about Lucas Torreira.
Torreira is a player with a lot of interest at the moment with Inter and Atletico Madrid thought to be interested but Osti stands firm on the matter.
“We have not yet planned our January transfer market but as our President Massimo Ferrero has said recently, we will not sell anyone until June.
The 21-year-old Uruguayan midfielder has made 12 appearances for Marco Giampaolo’s Samp side this term, scoring once and assisting twice.
Sampdoria have impressed Serie A fans with their performances this season and Osti shared his thoughts on their season.
“It’s too early to talk about us as a revelation, ever Sunday is a test. We are not setting ourselves any objectives, because it has not brought us much luck to do so. We live for the day, aware of our own strengths.”
