Former Inter player Ze Maria spoke with Inter TV on Inter and their season so far, where they remain undefeated since the middle of July in all competitions.

“This Nerazzurri is a very solid team with a lot of very good technical players. Players are sacrificing for one another and they understand the importance of this shirt and how to make fans happy.”

He further praised the Inter squad adding, “It is not easy to stay up near the top of the league but Inter are managing to do it and I hope they are going to continue to improve, as there are top players at the club.”

The 44-year-old Brazilian, who was on the Nerazzurri’s books for two years between 2004 and 2006 then shared what he believes should be Inter’s goal for the remainder of the season.

“The goal should be to take the team back to the Champions League.”
